Gizza Wardrobe

The Gizza wardrobe leaves its centre section permanently open, so a run of walnut drawers sits exposed between four cream doors. Above them, two fluted smoked glass doors front an LED-lit hanging bay. The cream veneer carries fine vertical grain, and slim recessed channels replace conventional handles throughout.

Description

A cream wardrobe with an open centre bay

Closed storage hides everything, which works until you need something quickly in the morning. The Gizza splits the difference. Four cream doors handle bulk storage at either end, while the centre bay stays permanently open, exposing a stack of walnut drawers and a lit niche above them. Consequently, this cream wardrobe gives you a dressing station built into the unit itself, where everyday items stay reachable without opening anything.

Walnut against cream

The contrast between the two woods does the design work here. Pale cream veneer with a soft vertical grain covers the doors and outer frame, while a warm walnut runs through the drawer fronts, the plinth, and the top edge. Because the walnut appears only in the open centre and along the framing lines, it draws the eye inward and defines the bay rather than competing with the doors. The interior also lines in walnut, so opening any door continues the same warmth.

Fluted smoked glass upper bay

Two fluted smoked glass doors sit directly above the drawers, fronting a hanging bay lit from above. The vertical ribbing blurs what sits behind it into soft shapes, which means shirts read as a pale gradient rather than individual garments. As a result, the bay gives you visible, lit storage that still looks composed when the contents are not perfectly arranged.

Interior layout

Behind the outer doors, the wardrobe provides two full-height hanging sections, one with shelving above and below, plus a column of stacked open compartments sized for shoes and folded items. The centre holds a long LED-lit rail behind the glass, a lit open niche, and three deep drawers with lined bases and full-extension runners. Furthermore, a second bank of narrow shelves flanks the drawer stack, suiting accessories and smaller items that get buried in deep storage.

Recessed channel handles

Rather than fitted handles, the doors open on slim vertical channels recessed into the veneer and finished in a darker tone. Those channels read as shadow lines across the front, which keeps the elevation clean and emphasises the vertical proportions of the unit. They also mean nothing protrudes into a walkway, which matters in narrower bedrooms.

Where the Gizza wardrobe fits

The cream and walnut palette suits bedrooms with warm flooring, whether porcelain, marble, or timber, and sits comfortably alongside beige and taupe textiles. Because the open centre needs to stay visible to work, position the wardrobe where the bed or a walkway does not block it. The unit pairs with the rest of the Gizza bedroom collection and calls for a full clear wall.

Care and everyday use

Wipe veneer surfaces with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry them straight away. Clean the fluted glass along the direction of the ribs using cleaner applied to the cloth rather than sprayed onto the door. Keep the open centre bay tidy, since it stays permanently visible and doubles as part of the room’s appearance. Finally, avoid overloading the drawers beyond their rated capacity, and check runner alignment once a year.
